About me
My artistic name is Nina Koba, I was born in beautiful Ukraine where I studied classical art. During my life, I had the fortune for visiting many countries that enriched my vision of the world, I had the opportunity to live in South Korea for a couple of years, where I can say it was such an enriching experience, afterward, I moved to my beautiful Mexico, a magical country that stole my heart, I’m so grateful for this wonderful country, not only because its wonderful weather, but its people, food, art, landscape, beaches, history, and such a rich culture. In Mexico City I had the opportunity to study ceramic art with Alberto Diaz de Cossío, one of the most famous ceramic artists in Mexico, as well I studied tempera art and etch engraving in Oaxaca, Mexico, additionally, I had the opportunity to participate in the art department of many movie productions where I learn how to create digital art.
Nowadays I live in Canada, where I continue to expand my art, lately, my art is more focused on creating digital art and oil painting, as these are my passion, you will see in my art the influence of the Mexican culture folklore, like the “alebrijes”.
I invite you to discover my art, following the trend, I’m publishing some of my art as NFT, as this makes my art more affordable and I can share my art to any corner on the Earth. Painting
I know there are many painting mediums like acrylic, tempera, oil, etc., but my favourite one is the oil painting, this because there’s nothing like the sensation of painting with oil; the texture, the smell, the way my brush flows with the paint, it makes me so happy when I’m in the process.
Sculpture
The good thing about sculpture, is that you can create an art piece with anything you have in your hands, flowers, food, clay, wax, or any other medium, but my favourite one is ceramic, I like stoneware and I love to create my own enamels.
NFT Digital Art
I started painting digital art many years ago, but is now that thanks to the technology, I can sell my original art as an NFT (non-fungible token), so now I can share my art to any corner in the world, and you can have the opportunity of owning my original art with a proof of ownership. I will be dropping my art in different NFT platforms, so you can buy in your favourite.
